My Favorite Things: All Star Weekend Edition

With All-Star Weekend 2011 in Los Angeles approaching, thought i would share some of my favorite moments from the Ultimate Playground. We know about MJ from the free-throw line in '88 at the Stadium and Magic's Return in '92 in Orlando but let's take a look at some of the moments that don't get as much pub.

    Ahhh, yes! All-Star weekend. The classic was the '87 MVP Tom Chambers. White guy, from the hometown Supersonics that happened to be hosting that weekend, compared to Larry Bird during the broadcast. And then the Miller CEO says after the award "in your name and on behalf of Miller Brewing Company we will award $5,000 to the Thurgood Marshall Black Education Fund!" Of course, the final piece of the puzzle.
